24-27/09/2018 National Polymer Meeting (GEP2018) in Punta Umbría Huelva. I am presenting part of our research in chiral teleinduction. Although the best news come from Sandra´s thesis “Chiral Nanostructure Based on Helical Polymers”, which was awarded with the second prize for the best thesis in the polymer field in 2017. Congratulations Sandra!!

20/09/2018 Our colleague Prof. Eiji Yashima gave an outstanding talk in our research center about helical polymers, supramolecular polymers and foldamers.  Our students had also the opportunity to discuss with him the research that we are doing in the same fields. Thanks Eiji for your time!!

30/05/2018 Lecture at University of Kanazawa hosted by Professor Katsuhiro Maeda. It was also nice to met my former member Dr. Rafael Rodríguez (Tito) and find that he is having a great time there. I also enjoy a lot discussing about chemistry, polymers and chirality with Assoc. Prof.  Tatsuya Nishimura and Assoc. Prof.  Tomoyuki Ikai.

22/02/2016 Our paper  “Self Assembly of Poly(phenylacetylene)s” has been published in Chemical reviews.

11/02/2016 GOOD NEWS!! Our research project “Chiroptical Dynamic Materials from Dynamic Helical Polymers” got funded from the Spanish Government. We were also awarded with a predoctoral fellowsyhip.

Arias_et_al-2016-Small-111/01/2016 Our paper  “Chiral Nanostructures from Helical Copolymer–Metal Complexes: Tunable Cation–π Interactions and Sergeants and Soldiers Effect ” has been published in Small.
The article has been considered very important paper and it is highlighted with a frontispiece. Congratulations Sandra Arias and Julián Bergueiro for this beautiful work.
